Sep 24, 2018 · There are 38 different artificial reefs within nine miles of the Alabama coastline that provide easily accessible offshore fishing sites to anglers. Target species on these reefs include red snapper, gray triggerfish and gray snapper.

Service Description: Alabama Marine Resources Division has constructed reefs within the coastal water of Alabama as well as the water within the Gulf of Mexico adjacent to Alabama. This service provides the name, location, reef zone, depth, type of material used in the reef construction and other information pertinent to the reefs.
