We do this with basic and applied research programs on the Institute of Agriculture campus, in partnership with UT Knoxville and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and at ten AgResearch Centers across the state.

UT AgResearch has ten research and education centers located across the state. The Centers support most of the research conducted by UT AgResearch for the benefit of Tennessee’s diversified agriculture and natural resource industries.

The Plateau AgResearch and Education Center conducts research in areas of the efficiency of livestock enterprises, fruit and vegetable production and marketing, soil fertility, and conservation research.

UT AgResearch and Education Centers will host eighteen field days in 2023, providing visitors a chance to see agricultural research in action, speak with university experts, and network with industry professionals.
