May 23, 2016 · Abyssal Sire optimal spec weapon? After over 300 kc I've tried dwh, bgs, and crystal halberd for special attack weapons. I do feel like I hit fairly accurately with all of them on the actual hit itself so the comparison is nerfing it's defense versus large burst dps output.

Apr 3, 2022 · But as long as you're high stats Sire should die fast and you can heal with sang off vents phase, or using blood barrage on vents, or doing less kills per hour by POH resetting. If you're using Arclight DWH isn't really worthwhile as a spec weapon. It's primarily used to make Scythe BiS dps and only really done so in 1+1 Sire.

Mar 7, 2018 · Pray range and peity, the defence of piety helps lots with tanking. Secondly use a 2 - 1 - 2 -1 pattern whilst attacking sire. Lastly I wouldn't recommend being on a slayer talk + arclight more. It helps so much. Don't forget to use arclight on slash, even though sire is weak to stab. Slashing with arclight is way more effective nonetheless

Sep 15, 2023 · Currently at 57k at Abyssal Sire. I’ve got the boss down pretty solid at this point. I’m getting 1-2 kills per trip. Any advice or recommendations from my current gear/inv setup to try to extend those kills per trip?

Aug 7, 2021 · 14 votes, 17 comments. true. Completed sire log, but I would recommend arclight and claws. Claws ended the last phase which I took the majority of any damage faster than a dwh overall reduced the kill time since arclight melts it.

I recommend doing sire! Tbh abyssal dagger is pretty useless. The bludgeon is great to finish off 99 str, is useful in raids (tekton) once you start those, and is good for tasks like gargoyles and sarachnis. Not many irons had the bludgeon before nightmare came out, but a lot of people went back after the nightmare and Sire QOL update.

Apr 27, 2022 · Sire is a 1.5-2m an hour boss that costs 500k if you die. All the top money makers have 50-100k death fee regardless of gear. Ive been doing a lot of Phosani lately, the 60k death fee on a 4-5m an hour boss isnt exactly fair in comparison.
