As you mentioned above, you can set a company by company logo (legal entity level) via Organization Adminstration -> Setup -> Organization -> 'Legal Entities' -> [Select your legal entity] -> Click 'Company Logo'.

May 26, 2015 · Recently, I worked on 4 to 5 SSRS reports. In all reports, I noticed that the company logo is showing fine on report viewer output, but when I export it to PDF, the image is not showing correctly and I can just see a water mark type image and not a coloured image. Have anyone noticed this before or have any clue what is wrong here? Thanks, Baber.

If you are using AX 2012, make sure that in Cash and Bank > (Your Bank) > Setup Tab > Check > Setup Tab > Company logo is checked. In MS Paint there is nasty behavior. If you open a Jpeg image and while saving it, in save as dialog if just change the extension to bmp, the image will be saved in JPG format but will have bmp as extension.
