Dec 9, 2018 · Re: Muzzle Brake on Armalite AR-50A1 The ring directly behind the muzzle break has 4 small holes in 90 degrees apart. This piece is a jam nut. You will need to fabricate a spanner or purchase one. A simple matter of loostening the nut and repositioning the break.

Feb 22, 2013 · The best bang for the buck in factory/production BMGs is the Armalite by a mile in my experience and opinion. They are accurate, utterly dependable, have good barrels, and are all-around great rifles right out of the box. As for the pricetag...$3400 is HIGH for the Armalite basic AR-50A1 (and WAY HIGH for new or like new earlier models).

Feb 3, 2012 · I hated the stocks on the AR-50. They are too long seriously who does Armalite make them for? I do have a AR-30 and had the stock cut down several inches. I was showing it to the person who bought my AR-50 and he promptly cut off the butt plate and then removed the metal he needed for proper length of pull.

Jul 6, 2014 · Going nuts here trying to pick one. Need a new scope for the AR-50, took the old Leupold off. Only shoot during the day at the range, no tactical funny business. Budget is under $1500 -- just don't want/need anything high-end or fancy. Requirement: HIGH magnification. Had a 20x, didn't like it. Want much higher this time around.

Apr 25, 2020 · I just bought an AR-50A1 and im completely satisfied! Its one hell of a well built rifle. Alot of people dont like how much it weighs but I beg to differ. I feel a heavier gun is more accurate and less recoil. Speaking of less recoil an AR-50 has the least amount of recoil due to the very efficient muzzle brake.
