Agia Pelagia (Greek: Αγία Πελαγία, "Saint Pelagia") is a popular seaside resort in the municipality of Malevizi, 23 km northwest of Crete's capital city of Heraklion. In former times, Agia Pelagia was a tiny fishing village and a place for the residents of nearby Achlada village to grow their crops.

Agia Pelagia town and its sandy beach are located in east Crete, 20 kilometres from Heraklion and its airport. The sandy beach of Agia Pelagia is suitable for families with little children, while 1-2 miles away there are also the Ligaria beach and the Mononaftis beach.
