The Advance Facer Canceler System (AFCS) positions and cancels collection mail, reads barcodes on pre-barcoded mail, and identifies and prints a barcode on mail that is not already barcoded. The AFCS also culls or removes mailpieces that are too thick, too stiff, too long or too tall into a reject stacker for additional processing.
