Here is a great deal on a pair of classic ADS speakers (circa 1977). These are the big L620 model, from the original mid-70's ADS cloth grill line. The L620 was the top of the line for ADS 2-Way speakers, and was (and still is) often favorably compared to the original large Advent model.

Aug 6, 2018 · When I bought my 1st speakers ADS was very new and hard to find, but Braun had a presence in SoCal as at least a couple of dealers sold them here. My final choices came down to the legendary Braun LV 1020 "Tri-amps" or B&O M70's.

Sep 2, 2011 · Science speaker design has made a difference, but it seems like ADS came along at the beginning of the time when that had started. Another issue is deterioration of parts, but ADS often used rubber surrounds and capacitors of a type that don't necessarily deteriorate.

All enclosed ADS speakers employ the acoustic (air) suspension principle for two basic reasons. First, it is ADS belief that a properly designed acoustic suspension system offers the best, most consistent bass performance for a given size and cost, for the widest range of applications.

Oct 19, 2004 · My favorite ADS speaker of all time would have to be the L-710 in the bookshelf style. Sounded great and deadly accurate. I like them with a tube amp and transistorized pre-amp, like a Dynaco PAT 5.
