The Autoblindo 40, 41 and 43 (abbreviated AB 40, 41 and 43) were Italian armoured cars produced by Fiat-Ansaldo and which saw service mainly during World War II.

Mar 12, 2022 · Yugoslav Communist Partisans managed to capture a number of AB armored cars during September 1943. While they did see action against the Axis forces, all were either destroyed or were hidden by the Partisans to avoid being captured by the Germans. By late 1944, they managed to capture more with some surviving after 1945.

The Autoblinda 41, or AB 41, armored cars were built by the Italian firm Ansaldo-Fossati starting in 1941. They had two driving positions, one in the front and one in the rear, thus increasing flexibility in tight terrain, though this required two of the four men crew to be trained as drivers.
