Dec 16, 2024 · What is an Appearance Approval Report (AAR)? The AAR is one of the PPAP document which confirm that all parts visual and aesthetics characteristics align with customer requirements. It is similar to dimensional report, here we add all aesthetic points jointly aligned and approved with customer.

The AAR used to be a hand written document CFG-1002-F1, but now only the electronic version is used (eAAR). There is a online document and a sticker (AAR label) that is placed directly on the part.
