Jul 24, 2022 · RETRO A1 Carbine So I had some old take off parts from customer upgrades. Ordered a brownells pencil A1 barrel, chrome bolt, , CAR stock, and grip. Added a GG&G sling thing light mount and sling. Got it out today and zeroed it with m193. Wish it was not a 1/7 twist. It shoots great to 300. IPSC steel target gets a hit every shot @300. There is a reason the socom barrel profile exists.

I purchased a set of their skinny 6-hole carbine handguards earlier this year and was quite impressed. I received an email from them saying that the A1 handguards are back in stock.

Nov 29, 2017 · A1 buttstock, 16" middy barrel, 13" ALG V0E handguard and Geiselle GBT trigger. The barrel and bolt carrier group was shipped yesterday but who knows when the ALG wrench will ship.
