The 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron is located as a tenant unit on Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The squadron is assigned to the 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing headquartered at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Constituted as 8th Air Cargo Resupply Squadron on September 14, 1944 and activated ten days later.

Sep 24, 2020 · 8th EAMS celebrates Ochoversary. Upon re-activation in 1998 at Prince Sultan Air Base (Al Kharj) Saudi Arabia, the 8th ACRS was re-designated as the 8th EAMS, eventually moving to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar in 2003.
