Customer: Hello - have a 76 Volkswagon Micro Delux Bus with a 2ltr fuel injected motor. Best idling Kombi I've ever had however when it get to around 50 - 60kms its just chokes like it not getting enough fuel - have sone all the checks and the motor appears fine but thoughts it could be something to do with the elctrics driving the fuel injectors - any thoughts?

Let me see what I can find out. I would not call myself a VW bus (type II) expert, but I did own a 73 camper 1800cc, and have worked on them. I know it's common to swap motors in them as well. If it ran good when you drove it, I would think that the timing is okay.

Customer: I have a VW Kombi Microbus 2.5 litre - year model 1994 - engine code AAY. When starting the engine the fuel pump is activated when the ignition switch is in the start position, when the switch is released from the start position the fuel pump loses its power. I have replaced the fuel pump relay and also tried a new switch.
