Aug 28, 2019 · Saw an episode of Hot Rod Garage where Freiburger but them on the Crusher Camaro (a 67). He used the sizes you mentioned (only thing in that range I think) with 235/40R18 and 275/40R18.

Apr 4, 2013 · Re: 69 Camaro reear end/gears If it's the stock 8.2" rear, you might want to consider throwing it in the garbage if that 454 puts out any decent power, and upgrading to an 8.5" 10-bolt or even a 12-bolt. The 3.23's won't be the greatest for getting off the line, but they'll be better on the highway than your other choices- it's a balancing act. Do you know if it has a posi unit?

Apr 22, 2011 · Re: headers for rack and pinion on 69 camaro I wouldn't go bigger than 1-3/4" on the primary tubes; you'll lose too much bottom end torque. Since you don't have to worry about clearing a power steering box, almost all headers should fit.
