Dec 13, 2010 · the 512tr is still my favorite car for a nice long distance jaunt. speed, power, poise, presence, good sound, comfy seats, aircon that works, wow factor 10. its got it all and you dont feel like somebody beat you up at the end of the trip.

Apr 20, 2021 · Guess I'm now old but I've owned four or five Testarossas ranging from 1987 to 1989 and one 512TR from 1994 - most bought new. While I loved the Testarossa, I much preferred the 512TR. Better everything all around. Only negative to the 512TR is at 6'3 I didn't fit very well. Seats pushed me up and forward and my right knee hit the gear shift

Nov 21, 2007 · The 512TR has significant mechanical and cosmetic improvements over the Testarossa. The TR has a stronger box, nice looking modern wheels, more power, and a redesigned frame. The Testarossa, is the bargain of the bunch. Almost all non F enthusiasts, cannot tell the difference between the 512TR and the Tr.

Aug 7, 2008 · Many folks including me have experienced problems with their TR or 512tr's not starting when hot or having run for a long period of time. I have clearly determined how to fix this issue. It is not a lack of sufficient juice to the starter - no relays are required at all.

Some of these screws are threaded and some are machine. I actually did it without jacking up the car. Exhaust comes out the bottom, will not come out the top even though it looks like it might.
