Dec 3, 2007 · Biggest bull I have ever taken scored 338 but because it had a seventh point it was deducted down to 323 and something. Still it is a great trophy. The area i hunt it is hard to find elk much bigger (alot depends on the area). I would love to get a 350 + bull someday.

Jun 16, 2013 · Killed my 350 class bull doing this very thing. after spliting the hurd (elk running every direction) my brother and I worked away from the locacation we spooked them and set down for 20 min. As softly as I could I cow called. The bull went nuts. Remember he wants his cows back. After a min. or so I let out one more cow call and he came a running.

Jun 29, 2020 · First time elk hunter here. My buddy and I both received tags for Unit 74 in September. I'm going in with a completely blank slate. I don't have any grand ideas of a 350" bull and I fully realize there's a good chance we'll see more people than elk. We're both semi-experienced hikers and campers, with a few multi-day trips under our belts.

Apr 11, 2012 · He bowhunts a private ranch north of Billings in the Little Snowy range. The elk rut on this ranch before moving to their wintering grounds. I have hunted with him 3 times: missed at 20 yards, shoulder shot penetrating only an inch, and last time was within 20 yards of a 350 bull but not able to get a broadside shot.
