Feb 6, 2010 · A good series of powders for both rifles (.308 W and 7mm Rem) is IMR-4895, IMR-4064, IMR-4320. They give good service in both cartridges with a variety of bullets. If you desire to get top velocity with one powder, step up to a 30-06, then the IMR-4350 and IMR-4831 powders will give you top velocity in both cartridges.
