  2. 2JZ | G35-900 Performance - Supra Forums

Oct 2, 2023 · Based on other setups I'd expect the G35-900 with a 1.01 housing on a build like yours to get to 750-800whp all-in with good response starting in the high 3k range. I haven't seen many of the Garrett G30-900 or G35-900's crack 900hp on any engine, and the few that have don't seem to live long.

Feb 24, 2009 · Whats up guys? Thought I would let you all in on my little project. I have 2004 Infiniti G35 MT sedan. The car was bought new in 2004 and was slowly built to what she is today. Well what see was about three weeks ago. Up until three weeks ago it had a Turbonetics ST setup with a Precision...

Aug 11, 2010 · First G35 with a 2JZ-GTE!!! UPDATED 10/21/10!!! I just wanted to post a few pictures of a build my boy did putting a 2JZ-GTE in a G35 last month for me and my girl (her Daily Driver). 5. Turbo choice: G30-770/900 or G35-900 for 600 WHP? - Supra …

Feb 11, 2022 · The G35/GTX35/GT35R series turbos have been used for decades now with great success on the 2JZ and there's a reason why it's become the go-to Garret choice. I believe had they run the G35-900 with the .83 rear housing they probably would have got significantly more mid and top end power with response that probably matched the G30 with the 1.01 ...

  8. Turbo choice for NA-T. G35-900? 6262? G35-1050? SXE364?

Feb 13, 2002 · A turbo that small with that tiny housing threw off their thought process so they went into the g35 test thinking the same logic applied. A small turbo and small housing does not always mean best response. The g35-900 with the .83 would have probably provided the same response as the g30 with the 1.01, but significantly more mid and top end.

  9. Turbo choice for NA-T. G35-900? 6262? G35-1050? SXE364?

Feb 16, 2022 · G35-900 - just about ideal for your spool/performance goals, IMHO G35-1050 - more top end potential, much more likely to hit 600whp on pump safely, cost of some spool though. The Gen II GTX 3076R, 3576R, and 3582R are roughly analogous to the three above, respectively, but with different housing options and somewhat less HP potential but at ...

  10. Garrett G35-1050/G40-1150 vs PTE6766 - Supra Forums

Sep 7, 2022 · Assuming you're talking about a 2JZ-GTE, if you absolutely had to touch 1000whp I'd move a nudge upwards in size to a PTE6870 or 6875. But the 6766 is a great choice for 850-900whp on E85 with great response. If you go Garrett, I'd go with the G40-1150 just on the premise of 2JZ's preferring larger turbines.
