Apr 24, 2019 · sawin & dyer were working together from 1822-1827... and the sellers told me the clock was from 1825. so why does the lower tablet say 'long wharf, boston, 1800'? i've googled a bunch but can't find anything particularly special that happened to long wharf in 1800... anybody know? maybe a turn of the century thing?
