Dec 15, 2024 · There is a workaround you can do in the Registry Editor: We will look into how can we force the game to show a fallback list of resolutions! Thanks for the info. Put it into my registry. Cant tell if graphics changed. But in game options it stll shows resolution of 1176 x 664.

Oct 2, 2017 · Try putting the game into windowed mode. Then change the resolution to your desired resolution. You may need to use the ini file. Then, after it takes, switch to full screen.

Sep 22, 2013 · Only if it is greater than 1176 x 664 can you try and increase the resolution by hex editing the game executable, as someone did the same with victoria as described here. If you don't want to mess with anything above, software tweaks to increase your laptop's performance is your only real choice.

Feb 2, 2024 · Hmm, yeah. The game requires a minimum resolution of 1024x768 to work, btw. If it's getting less than that (say, 664 vertically) that could very well explain the mouse location oddities.

May 29, 2022 · I have been playing Victoria II for a few years but recently when I try too boot up the game the aspect ratio is too big and part of the game go off my screen. My computer resolution is 1176 x 664 but the game won't run in that ratio.

Dec 8, 2021 · The resolution shows me only the 1176 x 664 resolution. I'm using 3840 x 2160 monitor with 175% Windows DPI and a 1920 x 1080 drawing tablet with 100% DPI. The OS is Windows 11, but I doubt it matters.
