Yeah, glad there's no more debates on if the game would release Q1 of 2025 or end of 2025. Now we all know the game is set to release in the Fall. Though people will now start fighting if it'll be released September because it's the first Fall month, or November. I don't know the months their other games usually release if it's anything like those.

GTA and Red Dead had the exact same timeline when it came to announcement, delays and eventually release. The same exact mistake twice in a row. I will bet you my kidney this game has been delayed internally hundreds of time already, and I'll bet you my second kidney the game was originally supposed to be Fall 2024.

GTA V came to PC a year and a half later… ouch. RDR2 came to PC a year later still kinda long but better than adding half a year to it. Then finally, GTA the Definitive Trilogy came out on PC day one or a week after initial launch from my understanding.

May 16, 2024 · In either case, fiscal years end in March so Q1 2025 release seemed possible as Take Two didn't specify the reason for their expectations. Unless I've missed something they still haven't, which makes it reasonable to assume it was supposed to be GTA 6.

GTA 6 will release sooner than GTA 5 did, starting from their first trailers. It took over 22 months from the first trailer of GTA 5 to the actual release date. GTA 6 will drop within the next 16 months. So it's hard to know when we'll actually get new information on the game.

Not sure if I am right but gta 5 released at a time when new consoles were going to release. So, they had to pretty much work on the new consoles too after releasing on old ones which made the delay for pc even longer. Rdr2 came on PC a year later(gta 5 took more than a year) so, that's why I said maybe around a year or less.

If this prediction is correct then we would expect to see GTA 6 release sometime between April 2023 and March 2024. Originally this spike was expected to take place in the fiscal year 2023, however its been pushed back to 2024. If it is GTA 6 that has caused this spike, this would suggest that a delay has incurred - potentially due to Covid-19.
