While at the University of Florida, Andrews was a member of the Florida Gators Dazzlers dance team. In 2007, she was honored with the University of Florida’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award.

While in college, she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, [9] and the Florida Gators Dazzlers dance team from 1997 to 2000. [8] In 2000, Andrews was employed by Fox Sports Florida as a freelance reporter. From 2001 to 2002, she served as a Tampa Bay Lightning reporter for the Sunshine Network.
