Aug 5, 2016 · Because of that, I could care less about the electronic benefit of the R1. The reason I got the zx10r over the R1 was because my local shop had a 2 year old zx10r with 0 miles and $4k under MSRP. I'm also more comfortable on the zx10r over the r1. I also don't care for the way the front end of the R1 looks. These are all personal preference.

Aug 18, 2022 · Kind of a strange question only because comfort is subjective to a large degree. The ZX10R is supposed to be one of the more comfortable 1000's out there. You can always make some changes if you find it too uncomfortable. You could get riser bars, thicker grips and a softer seat. By then you'd have a sport touring bike with 200hp.

Sep 10, 2024 · Picked up my new girl. She was the first 2025 ZX10R this dealer has even gotten. I was on their waiting list and when they called me Tuesday asking if I still wanted it I said a big Yup. They uncreated and prepped it yesterday and the weather turn out great and quickly went and picked her up today on Thursday.

Jan 23, 2014 · Im suprised it took 18 posts before someone mentioned how shitty the brakes on a Gen 1 are :lol: The best quote I ever read in regards to the brakes was "ZX10R, so fast that brakes cant stop it." I still never got why everyone was so down on the G2 looks either. I have a G1, but G2 looks a lot better than the 3rd Gen. I digress though.

Jun 7, 2007 · 04-05 ZX10R Service Manual functional/searchable PDF here! After many threads and headaches for a working pdf format for this 595 page shop manual I went ahead and OCRed it. I tested it out and it is now a fully functional searchable pdf file.

the 2016 ZX10r has lift control built into traction control. So the lower intervention settings the traction is on, the higher the bike will allow the front tire to rise off the road. If you want to full 12 o clock wheelie, you will need to turn traction control off. And yes this bike can power wheelie 1-4 gears at correct speeds.
