Jun 24, 2021 · Start VLC 4 with logging into a text file. Just create a batch script file ("vlc logger.bat" or "vlc logger.cmd") containing the provided command line in VLC directory right near "vlc.exe" file and execute it. Then check the logs in "vlc-log.txt" file.

Several developers and community members are deeply frustrated by the ongoing slow-motion train wrecks that are the new desktop UI and the media library, and the broken promises to fix them (myself included).

Oct 11, 2024 · Although VLC 4.0 is playing MP4 H.264 with the AAC codec fine, fortunately I can play any video with the audio playing normally, but not with E-AC3. I believe it is something that prevents or some bug that VLC 4.0 does not play MP4 H.264 with E-AC3 audio.
