May 1, 2021 · For the TrackIR (vJoy Device), all you need to worry about is mapping "Stick Axis X" to "Axis 4" and "Stick Axis Y" to "Axis 5". If all goes well, the right joystick will move as your head moves! Finally, check "Enable 2 Mapped Devices (Combine)" which makes the emulated Xbox 360 Controller a device that Steam can recognize.

Nov 19, 2024 · I've updated my game list, plugged TrackIR into a different USB port, restarted MSFS2024 and TrackIR software multiple times, and tried running TrackIR as an admin and normal. TrackIR works in all my other sim games, and MSFS2024 is in the game list. However, when I run MSFS2024, TrackIR doesn't work.

Nov 19, 2021 · TrackIR has stopped working in the Sim. (W11 MSFS v1.21.13.0) TrackIR software is working but not responding in the Sim Changing aircraft gets it working for about 30 seconds, then stops again.

Aug 24, 2024 · Using windows program uninstall the TrackIR window opened up to repair or uninstall. I clicked repair and it did its thing and it works perfectly now in both sims. 5.5.1 David Murden .

Jan 10, 2018 · TrackIR is a neat tool but it can be goofy to setup. If TracKIR is only showing 1 light in the application, something isn't setup properly with TrackIR. You should be seeing 3 lights unless you really crane your neck too high or too low. I would unplug your shifter and controllers and just get TrackIR working first in it's own internal software.

Jan 21, 2023 · I have TrackIR 5, and yes it definitely adds extra emersion, however over the Christmas period I purchased Tobii Eye tracker 5, and it's another step up from TrackIR. I now have no use for TrackIR. There's no wires or anything like that, and I might just give to my son. I'd personally recommend just to get the Tobii eye tracker 5 instead.
