S:US’ respite provides a safe, secure and supported home-like environment for people experiencing an emotional crisis. Lengths of stay are 1 to 28 days, and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by people trained in supporting others to transform a crisis into an opportunity.

S:US is working hard to help change this. We work to prevent homelessness. We operate shelters for homeless individuals and families, for people living with HIV/AIDS, for individuals with mental health challenges and for families experiencing domestic violence.
