Sep 24, 2020 · I have been able to get at least 2 major adjacency bonus next to the Oppidum so far. Plus mines give a standard adjacency bonus. Here is the real strength of the Oppidum over a regular industrial zone. They get their major adjacency bonuses much earlier than they do normally. You can easily have +5 Oppidum pretty soon after building it.

Sep 22, 2020 · The oppidum seems to work more like how IZs used to in vanilla, where adjacency was heavily based on terrain instead of district planning. Even if they do receive adjacency from aqueducts and dams, you're probably better off clustering the oppidum around stone and strategic resources, for natural +4 or better adjacency.
