Oct 28, 2014 · {youtube}ArxN8T_6PbI{/youtube} Rebuilding Honda power steering pumps isn’t that difficult but it comes with a warning, it might not work out. I had a heck of a time with this one. In the end the fix…
Timing Chain Tensioner Leak in a 1999 Toyota Corolla
Apr 15, 2012 · It’s advise that you don’t use the gasket material extra on the tensioner. If it gets old and into the engine, it’s not good. It could clog up the oil lube path. Just install the new tensioner and the o ring will do it’s job. The leak is common and very bad design. I changed mine less than 10000 miles ago and it leaks again.
2004 Honda Accord V6 power steering whine - EricTheCarGuy
Feb 2, 2013 · [quote=”ridinred24″ post=48177]When it does make the whining noise when cold, does the fluid froth up inside the reservoir? Its very common on these for the inlet o ring on the pump to fail and cause the fluid to aerate and cause all sorts of racket. If they replaced the power steering hose then they were supposed to change this o ring too.

Jan 22, 2013 · First I would buy both the upper o-ring and the actual screen/gasket that goes between it and the cylinder head. Take the top solonoid part off to get a little more room and then get the 3 bolts out for the rest of the assembly. Its just going to …
Diagnosing Oil Leak & Seepage Problem - EricTheCarGuy
May 14, 2016 · I replaced the o-ring (91301-P8A-A00) behind the camshaft thrust cover assembly (12230-P8A-A00), a stupid-easy job that sealed that source of leakage. I removed the oil pan–a slightly less easy job–cleaned off the original 16yo RTV and scoured the pan to a shiny finish. I inspected the pan and confirmed that the cracks were in fact superficial.
Making my own gasket… | EricTheCarGuy
Jul 7, 2015 · So on the Altima the distributor cap has this rubber gasket that’s like an o-ring but formed to the shape of the cap. Hoinda’s had this too on ones like the 90’s Accord. This gasket on this 2001 Altima is cracked and pretty much done for. The problem is nobody sells this gasket separately. I’ve looked everywhere.
