Several hybrid prototypes emerge: first, a cluster of hacked towers with diagonal shifts which disrupt otherwise repetitive floors. These shifts generate sloped floors and ceilings which in turn create new focal points: a tiered auditorium, connective atria, and communal landscapes.

AI. Places People Planet. At the center of the shipyard redevelopment is an ‘urban cloud’—a canopy-like structure functioning as both a physical device to provide shade and cooling, and as a digital sensory device which gathers urban data.

The result is a form which is not only physically connected, but visually interlinked. The arrangement of terraces surrounding the central countyard means that every point in the project has line-of-sight to another: to see, and to be seen.
