Dec 26, 2022 · This major update 22.0 installed kernel 6.1.1-1 and that’s when it all went wrong. All browsers Firefox, Chromium and Vivaldi hung. Libreoffice Froze and all apps were slow to load. Rolled back kernel 5.15.85-1. Now every thing is fine. As you can see my system had adequate ram, cpu and gpu. This is for any one who is having similar problems.
