Some METRO lines use trains, others use buses. Whether it runs on a road or on tracks, customers can expect trips at least every 15 minutes during most of the day. METRO lines serve stations with enhanced amenities, like heating, added lighting, NexTrip real-time information, pay-at-the-station boarding, and improved security features.

Valid on buses and light rail from time of purchase from a METRO ticket machine or activation on the Metro Transit app until 2 a.m. the next day.

You’ll get personalized trip information, including schedule times and fare information. Ask the representative where to wait for your bus, or just look for the closest bus stop sign on your route. Be sure to get to the stop five minutes early. When the bus approaches, signal for it to stop.
