Mar 4, 2023 · The S lenses have plenty to give and the S3 draws very nicely. Every camera body I have had, took some time to figure out the best workflow for the sensor (M9 -> M240, S2 > S007 > S3). This is because each sensor is different. I will tell you I get a better hit rate on color in the S3 and the bayer filter was dramatically redesigned.

Jul 19, 2024 · I use the Leica S3 and desperately need some working tether cables and can’t seem to get them for love nor money. I have some jobs coming up in the coming weeks, and my two cables have now packed in! I bought three from Leica Classic Austria and they seem to be for the S2. I have called Leica and they don’t have any.

Aug 1, 2020 · I have the S3 for the sensor size, improved color and of course, the superb S lenses for rendering the scenes. My clients are very demanding for detail in the very large prints that I create. A number of Leica dealers are now receiving their S3 demos and perhaps you might consider doing a AF speed test with them. r/ Mark

Oct 24, 2022 · When I would use the S3 for ad hoc portraits, my go to lens was the S100. When I initially used the S120, it rendered quite well, but the S100 renders more like a M Noctilux 50 and M 50 Summilux. My clients whom I did portraits, were thrilled with the S100 resulting photographs.
