May 2, 2018 · I have been using the Cabela's version of a large Jet sled for just this purpose about 6 years now and many of the points mentioned are spot on. 1) Not useful for steep uphills or unless you have fairly smooth terrain/trails 2) I find it awesome if there is some snow and mild terrain (especially downhill)- I pulled a HUGE cow out about 1-5 ...

I think the ducks get shot at many times from rectangular objects all down the flyway and learn to avoid them. The low profile of laying in a jet sled is different than most rectangular blinds.

Feb 20, 2013 · I have a plastic Jet Sled, picked it up from a local sporting goods store for around $30. I've only drug deer in it a couple times, but it's been very useful around the house. We use it to move firewood, pick up sticks, haul dirt around the yard, grass clippings, just whatever. The kids also ride it down the hills when it snows.

2024 - More than we deserved - Hunt Talk
Dec 27, 2000 · Ethan trekked back to the truck for the Jet Sled while Marcus, Sid, and I did the gutting and gilling. Our first 150' of vertical would have been a grunt with no snow. Drag or Pack Out? - Hunt Talk
Mar 12, 2019 · Wheeled game cart, garden cart or a snow sled will work. I packed an entire mule buck out solo in one trip last year, (quarters, cape, neck meat, loins). Granted it was only 1.5 miles, but now I know it is doable and anything farther than 1/2 mile from the road is getting quartered and packed out.
