Mar 17, 2016 · It can open .ichat files from that date onwards..ichat files are from iChat 3 onwards. Logorrhea can open the .chat items. It is an old app that will run in EL Capitan. Whilst it will not open a file with an Open With Command it can browse your files and show you the text. It tends to retain the original colours of the Chat.

Feb 3, 2011 · I want to use iChat for a couple of reasons, being a new Mac convert, and loving this bright new world, I want to use all-Mac-software on my Macbook Pro and abandon all PC rubbish. Plus, and more importantly, I cannot video chat with more than one user on Skype or Windows Live Messenger. And I see that this function is available in iChat.

Mar 3, 2020 · My ichat's have been saving in my library archive since 2014 on my mac. I have over 3,500. How do I get them to stop going to archive. The kind is called chat transcript & I can not open them. Also how can I delete the entire file instead of each 1 individually.
