Jan 31, 2020 · Yeah, I knew that Godox made a knock off copy of the A1 by Profoto. Hence the question. Saw few YouTubers/godox fan boys praise the V1 and bash the A1 because of price when the V1 came to market last fall. Godox seems to be making inroads in to the lighting market. Members here speak highly of other Godox products.

Dec 2, 2020 · If you haven't gotten a speedlight yet, I'd recommend either a Godox TT350-F or a TT685-F over a Fuji OEM unit for cost/expansion options, and over Yongnuo/Neewer/Godox TT600 for compatibility and function.

May 2, 2022 · The GFX 50r is compatible with the Godox and Flashpoint branded Godox units designed for use with Fuji cameras and I use the 50r with the V1. This combination supports manual operation, TTL and HSS. I can’t say I have noticed the illumination of the viewfinder behavior you mentioned one way or the other.

Mar 9, 2022 · First question is: does AF assist work on a X-H1 and or XPro2 and a Godox TT685F flash? I have it 'on' in the flash's custom setting and in the camera flash menu. But I can't make it come on in real life. (I'm assuming its much like the AF assist I've used on Nikon or Canon, a set of red stripes for the AF to grab onto).

Aug 3, 2023 · (At least in the case of my X-S10/Godox V1)…a flash that is “set to TTL” in-hand will switch over to Manual when attached to the camera if M is the FLASH FUNCTION mode currently selected in camera. One is generally able to then select TTL using either the Camera Menu or (mounted) Flash controls.

Apr 28, 2018 · I'm debating which flash to use with my new GFX 50s, leaning toward the EF-X500, try to always stick with OEM's. However, there are many positive reviews about Godox and its considerably less. Question, will I be sacrificing anything with the GFX, performance wise? Lighting quality? Thanks!

Jun 24, 2017 · But since Godox doesn't want you buying a Roboshoot/Yongnuo YN-622/Phottix Odin, they also make the XT32 (HSS but no TTL) and the X1 (HSS and TTL) transmitters. Given that a Roboshoot MX-20 is only sold in a $400 Tx/Rx set, it may be better to wait for Godox to pump out a $50 -F version of the X1T.
