  1. Glock 47 | Page 24 - Glock Talk

Feb 9, 2020 · The G47 is basically a Gen 5 G17. I can think of two possible justifications for this model’s existence. 1) Economic. I’m not intimately familiar with Glock’s manufacturing process, but it may be easier to machine the red doohickey into …

  2. Opinions on the Glock 47

Oct 11, 2023 · I ended up getting a 47 this year. I really wanted a G17MOS, but found out Glock only sells the G17MOS to agencies now. So I got a 47MOS-5. This 47 came with the MOS RMR cut. Glock produces it with the RMR cut from their factory. I mounted a 507C. It came with Ameriglo suppressor height sights. As far as how it shoots, like every full size Glock.

Apr 9, 2019 · The Glock 47 is the smartest Glock design I've seen yet, why? I'll tell you why! If you want to have a full sized MOS Glock, you have the Glock 47, oh but if you want to shorten the slide length for vehicle carry, you can pop on a Glock 45 slide, and if you already have a Glock 45, you can buy a Glock 47 slide, and you'll have an MOS gun for cheap.

  5. aftermarket slides and barrels that fit the glock 47 mos

Dec 16, 2024 · ok so the g19 slide with like a barrel and muzzel combo like the radian ramjet, does that come out to be the same size slide and barrel length as the stock 47 slide? i dont want something shorter thats why i was hesitant to put a g19 slide on it. i want something the same lenght and thats why i was thinking of the 17 slide with a spacer. but the spacer is sold out. so i wasnt sure what other ...

Sep 12, 2024 · The 47 was part of making that choice, as, due to their configuration, I could swap my Gen 5 19 MOS's slide with a red dot onto the 47's frame, and then it was a 45 MOS. A lot of the decision was also based on what was available at the time too. My dealer couldn't get another 47 MOS and a 45 MOS was available, so I went with that.

Dec 13, 2017 · But the Glock 47 has a few tricks up its sleeve. Using a Glock 45 frame, the Glock 47 has the ability to also accept Glock 19 slides. Moreover, the Glock 47 slide is compatible with Glock 19 frames, meaning that the G47 gives you unofficial access to the long-awaited factory Glock 19L “long slide.”

  8. Glock 47 - Two different Explosions - Any Ideas?

Dec 29, 2024 · Yes, an improperly installed optic on a Glock, including a Glock 47, can potentially damage the magazine extractor if the mounting screws are too long or positioned incorrectly, as they may interfere with the extractor's movement within the slide's internal mechanism, especially on models with a "MOS" (Modular Optic System) where the optic ...

  9. 47 vs 45 - Glock Talk

Dec 11, 2023 · The 47 is really identical to a 17 (dust cover length and G5 innards are the only differences). Slide length and height on the 47 and the 17 are identical. The 45 is the same height as the 17 and just has the 19's shorter slide. The 47 came into being for the BP because it wanted to be able to swap a 19 slide on to a 17.

  10. Glock 47? | Glock Talk

Nov 15, 2023 · The 47 is basically a G45 with a G17 length slide, if you have a G19 gen 5 the slide assembly will basically drop right onto the 47 frame and you get a G45 I like mine, especially when coupled with my G19
