I was told by the CEO of KKM that they would, but that the earlier gen barrels would be a slightly "looser" fit in the gen 5 models. He didn't say what the consequences of that "looser" fit would be, if any.

Jan 6, 2024 · Shooting a Glock 29 next to a Glock 30 it really depends on the ammo. Plinking or target ammo at low velocity ie 10 MM, 180 grain FP at 1050 FPS compared to a 45 ACP 200 grain SWC they are very similar in recoil and recovery time.

Sep 16, 2014 · The Glock uses controlled feeding which causes the rim to slide under the extractor hook as the round comes out of the mag and this holds the cartridge firmly against the breech face. Accuracy might be a TAD less, but still probably better than most shooters can hold.

Jan 22, 2025 · The G30s uses the same frame as the G30SF. The G30SF uses the heavier thicker slide of the G30 Gen 3, so the frame dimensions aren’t an issue. You’ll basically have a G29SF. I checked the parts list and the G30/30S/30SF/29/29SF all share the same trigger housing and ejector, so you shouldn’t need to change anything with the frame.

Jul 25, 2022 · Big difference in the 29 and the 30 the 30 is the softer shooting 45 caliber and the 29 is the fast hard hitting 10mm. You could take midsize game at close range with the 29 if that is what you want, 10 mm ammo costs a little more. 10 mm ammo is a little harder on the gun too but it is a great round.

It's just loaded to the full pressure 37,500 PSI of the original Norma specs which is what the Glock was originally designed to handle, so you're not over-stressing the gun. Most commercial 200 grain fmj (Blazer, Hornady, PMC) is loaded to only 1050 fps, Underwood and Buffalo bore is loaded to 1250 fps.

Feb 25, 2020 · The 30 frame has sandpaper talons. Both have crimson trace LG but after shooting about 200 rounds in each yesterday, the 29.4 just feels better.
