Feb 16, 2010 · In my Glock 22 test gun, none of the 180-grainers shot anywhere near point of aim, impacting eight inches high at 50 meters and four inches high at 25 meters. For my needs, this makes them unsuitable, since too much adjustment of point of aim is needed to hit small, angled or partially obscured targets.

Jan 28, 2010 · Also, glock 22 makes a compensated model; listed as Glock 22C. It does reduce muzzle flip, but it seems more effective with higher pressure ammo. 3.5 lb connector seems pretty safe upgrade. I haven’t had any problems whatsoever with thousands of rounds. Be careful with aftermarket triggers; MANY are NOT drop safe.

Sep 21, 2009 · Correct, no conversion bbls allowed. However, since the frames are identical, with a .40 slide/top end installed, it is not really a 'caliber conversion', but, is now a glock 22.

Mar 3, 2021 · I'm a fan of .40 cal and recently dumped the 9x19 platform to switch back all in on .40. I still have my first Glock ever which is a 2003 Gen 3 23. Since switching back I've obtained 2 RTF2 22 and a regular RTF Gen 3 22. One of the RTF2 pistols came pretty dirty so I went out and put a magazine through it before doing the full detail clean.

Jan 12, 2025 · The obvious answer is NO! I was at the range yesterday with my Granddaughter. We were shooting the Glocks G26, G19, G17, G34 and the G22. I had guns and mags all over the shooting bench. I mistakenly inserted a G17 mag into the G22, chambered a round and pow, not boom, I knew right away...
