Mar 27, 2011 · It is far better to overestimate what you would eat then underestimate it. If rice is your only starch, you'd want it for 2 meals a day, I think. So, 1 cup a day per person. Your 50 lbs of rice is 150 days worth of rice for 1. These are all approximates that I use for my family.
