The sixth-generation Honda Civic is an automobile produced by Honda from 1995 until 2000. It was introduced in 1995 with 3-door hatchback, 4-door sedan and 2-door coupe body styles, replicating its predecessor's lineup.

Apr 14, 2024 · Officially, EH are what 92-95 Civic hatches sold in the US are coded as. Coupes and sedans of the same years in the US were coded as EJ. EG was a chassis code used most notably for 92-95 hatches sold in Japan.

Aug 13, 2018 · EJ - technically, this can be used to refer to the coupes from either 92-95/96-00, but people incorrectly refer to the 96-00 coupes as “EK coupes”. Also, some people call the 92-95 coupes as “EG coupes,” which is incorrect.

Feb 2, 2006 · All USDM 6G coupes are not EJ8s either. Only the EXs are EJ8s (both the EX coupes and sedans). The correct chassis for a USDM '96-'00 is EJ. The nummber behind that general chassis code will vary depending on the trim. As far as the US Civics..... (I'll just put them here for people not willing to click the link plus to seperate the US cars.)
