Jan 11, 2018 · I very recently traded my beloved 2012 MKZ (pearl white, all the packages, slightly modified engine, lol). In doing so, I acquired a 2004 745i as part of the trade. It's my first non-project BMW (have a 2002 I'm parts hunting for, and a 2009 335i coupe I've been tinkering with). Right now, there is absolutely nothing that wrong with it.

Apr 2, 2010 · E65 reliability I just wanted to chip in with my experience with my 2003 E65 with regards to reliability. First off all, I have driven/owned a Toyotas, E36s, E34s, a Honda Civic an MB210, VWs, Audis, and my current E65. The reliability is about the same.

Apr 21, 2018 · E31's and E38's are completely different animals than E65's. The E65 was an abortion that somehow made it to production. There are tons of high mileage E38's that are still amazing cars. Any high mileage E65 I've ever seen is total trash. The E38, and E39 were the last of BMW's reign as building long-lasting, reliable vehicles.
