Daiki Ninomiya's Honda Civic Type R (EK9), also known simply as the Civic, the Type R or the EK9, is the signature car of Todo School student Daiki Ninomiya. It is the second Honda Civic encountered in the series.

The Todo School 's demonstration car is a Spoon Sports Tuned Sunlight Yellow Honda Civic Type R EK9. It is driven by ex student Tomoyuki Tachi in the second round of battles between Project D and the Todo School.

Dec 7, 2008 · Keep the EK9 box. They are similar to the 96spec boxes which imo is superior to the N3E 98spec box which has a 4.785 final but a taller 4-5 that makes the car fall flat on its face.
