The only fully carapace armored enemy is the crusher. Mauler wears carapace on head but their body is flak armored. Reapers (ogryns with guns) have carapace on arms and flak on most body but otherwise is considered as unyielding. A lot of regular fodder are also flak armored (traitor guards, bucket-heads)

A) +10% Elite Damage vs +25% Carapace damage modifiers. If you don't need the 10% damage to kill other things, then it's very worthwhile to get an additional 15% bonus to those carapace enemies. Oct 7, 2023 · The head of the mauler (human sized enemy with 2handed chainaxe) is considered carapace. As well as the entire body of the crusher (ogryn sized enemy with giant concrete rebar hammer) The beast and the plague ogryn are Unyielding armor type, mutant is Maniacs armor type, pox hound is Infested armor type. If you have any other doubts ask away :D

Jan 7, 2023 · Below is just a guide, not all enemies are fully armoured. For example, dreg bruiser has flak armour helmet but otherwise unarmoured. Shotgunner has flak armour chest but otherwise unarmoured. Reaper has flak armour chest, carapace greaves/boots, but arms/legs/head are unyielding; etc. Unarmoured: groaner, sniper, dreg bruiser, dreg stalker

Sep 29, 2023 · Subdermal Armour offers no bonus (giving only a brief description of "Armour - simple but effective."), while Carapace offers a 35% increase in armour effectiveness from behind and the sides AND more armour than Subdermal Armour. The only benefits to Subdermal Armour is that it's cheaper, in both credits and Cyberware Capacity.

I’m playing with three friends on a dedicated server and we are really struggling to find enough seekers to collect enough carapace for upgrading armour. For example we played a three hour session running around the mistlands, cleared an infested mine and we still only had enough carapace to craft one game piece of level two carapace armour.

Oct 27, 2020 · The "Tighten Carapace" ability isn't the focal point of the mutation, merely a situational perk. The main point of the Carapace mutation is the base AV bonus, along with the element resists. If you keep it leveled, your carapace will match or surpass most, if not all other body armors you find, with a much smaller DV penalty and no weight.

Feb 13, 2023 · With Carapace Buckler and high enough HP you should be able to parry most of those 1- or 2star mobs. My first Mistlands mob I encountered ever was 1star Seeker Soldier and I was able to parry it with Max qual BM shield and having around 200hp (Lox Pie/Serpent Stew/Blood pudding).

Others have covered the good advice (Revolver/Boltgun, and Ability will downgrade Carapace to Flak letting you do even more damage to Crushers). It's definitely a general weakpoint to the Zealot's options that they simply don't have a good ranged weapon vs. Crushers.
