Mar 3, 2012 · Recently my car horn became stuck in the on position even though I was not driving the car or using the horn. In fact, it got stuck in the middle of the night!! To stop the horn, I simply removed the fuse for the horn, but I was curious what sort of issue would cause this problem and what should be done to fix it.

Mar 16, 2016 · Yes. It works fine when connected to the negative of the battery. If I remove that and connect it to the body of the car, the horn would not sound. So, I am thinking to keep the horn wire connected to the negative of the battery and have a ground connection somewhere else.

May 24, 2010 · My son’s 2005 Mazda has been off the road for a little over a year. The car was being started periodically. This winter it wouldn’t start so a new battery was purchased.
