CKNX-AM is licensed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) on 920 khz (AM) with a daytime power of 10,000 watts and night time power of 1000 watts. The transmitter site is located near Belgrave ON.

Aside from being heard weekday mornings on CKNX from 5:30am – 10am, he can often be seen on RogersTV interviewing players rinkside on Owen Sound Attack broadcasts. J.C. is also active in the community, spending his free time as a volunteer hockey coach or occasionally appearing on-stage at The Roxy Theatre .

Norm McIntosh passed away peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston at the age of 82 after a brief illness. Norm was the loving husband of 47 years to Janette, beloved father of Scott, daughter-in-law Jaime and cherished grandpa to Emily.
