Two block isn't quite a bowl cut. And as long as it's styled, it doesn't clock as a bowl cut. The bowl cut is the entire top part looking like a mushroom, and usually too short bangs or too long bangs. The Bob on Woo in Attorney Woo is a bit too close to a bowl cut to be stylish, or what I see on little kids a lot on the weekend.

May 23, 2022 · That is a bowl cut, so whatever you’re talking about isn’t a bowl cut. If you’re talking about hairstyles that are short on the back and sides and long on top it’s called a “short back and sides” or a “fade” and it’s been the popular men’s haircut for probably twenty years now.

May 13, 2023 · I decided to cut it short (hate going barbers). I shaved the back and sides (sort of under cut to ear level) and then trimmed my fringe and cut my longer hair at sides/back. I now have a small bowl on top of my head. My front hair is thin anyway but its like my sides are super thick how can i thin them down and remove my bowl?

Nov 24, 2020 · The superhuman bowl cut was over styled so it looks unnatural, but I guess that was part of the concept. He looked so good with a more natural bowl style on the recent viewable radio . Super fresh and youthful, reminds me of Simon says Jungwoo hahaha

When my 3rd son was 2 in the early 90s I started having his hair cut into that "bowl" cut but way back then the hairdressers called it the Surf cut. It was cute on his little blonde head that I kept as his hairstyle until he had had enough by age 8 lol. I find this cut very attractive on Asian men but weird looking on other men.

But what he had was always a 70s bowl cut, and not a 90s bowl cut which was different (more horizontal and usually with the sides and nape cut short). Jun 24, 2022 · Personally I think cutting the sides and the back short (taper, fade) complements the coarse thick and straight texture that most East Asians have. I think it's an easy way to inject a bit more style into a bowl cut. I'd compare the bowl cut to wearing a pink shirt. Some guys can rock it, some don't. There isn't really that much rhyme or reason.
