Jan 16, 2023 · Chinese manufacturer BYD has kicked off the delivery of a batch of 304 electric trucks to India’s Adani Group. The BYD Q1R electric trucks are now on their way by sea to four Adani Group ports in India, where they will be used as terminal tractors.

Jan 25, 2023 · The BYD Q1 electric truck was first spotted in India back in February 2022. Now, a batch of these heavy haulers has been delivered to the Mumbai port. The Q1 is an all-electric tractor with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 40 tonnes.

BYD showcased its Q1R tractors and B12A03 electric buses at the three-day exhibition. The battery’s layout of the Q1R tractor is adjusted for enhanced safety performance, battery capacity, and endurance.
