Jul 11, 2016 · I bought a bronze Borb Oliver Tenor mouthpiece in March 2017. It was a Guardala Brecker II model. It was supposed to be 114 thou tip but was actually 110. It played ok but not good. The facing was 1mm out in balance and I had to take it to 120 thou to fix it and have a tip that was even and balanced.

Sep 10, 2023 · Update: the Borb Oliver Baritone 10 opening I received a couple days ago has been growing on me but not as is. The seller out of Florida said it was patterned after a RPC but didn’t say which model. It’s obvious from the pictures it has a high baffle, Dukoff style. I’ve had tenor RPC’s but in a rollover baffle.

Feb 7, 2019 · I just bought a "used" mint condition Borb Oliver MBII. I find it plays as easily as a student mpc like a Yamaha 4C, but with more clarity and much, much more volume. I usually play Meyers, both HR and metal. The Oliver is brighter sounding, as I expected.
