Mar 26, 2010 · 0.92 Atrazine is essentially useless; try looking at Scott brand of St. Augustine weed & feed, I believe it contains 1.23% or so; actually for the home owner Lesco with peloxalum (or something like that since my supply is under 25 50lb bags 0f 10-10-10; I'm sure that some-one will correct me )is more effective especially on broad leaf.

Jan 7, 2016 · All atrazine products with an ai load above a particular threshold (I don't remember what the number is right now) are labeled as restricted use. But, those under that threshold are not. Also, the lower concentration allows larger amounts to be measured for mixing, which is easier for small operators and homeowners.

Apr 15, 2012 · Atrazine is slow to damage some things. It may still be working. The old atrazine (RUP), not the 4% mixed with a product named Basagran, would work quicker. However the old atrazine was 40%. I agree with the EPA on this one as Atrazine moves horizontally in clay and loam and quickly moves downward in sandy soil into the water levels.

The difference between Houactinite and Milorganite is Houactinite has more jalepeno, Milorganite has more cheese.

Feb 5, 2012 · The product used was "Image herbicide for St. Augustine grass and centipede grass with Atrazine" Active ingredients: Atrazine 4%, Related Compounds .08%, Other Ingredients 95.92%. I used it to kill Chamber Bitter. I followed package instructions. It is a hose-end spray type bottle.

Mar 4, 2005 · The atrazine is working great. I've been told by some other applicators in my area that they won't use atrazine once the bermuda starts to green up because it'll stunt it. I've already treated all of my existing customers in early February with atrazine. Now, new customers are calling for weed control.

Aug 21, 2017 · If somewhere in between applications of Gallery then check into using Celsius--a good choice. I've also had great success with Image--but it must be used when grass is growing well. Use both on the medium rate. Another good choice is Dismiss. Check out the label. Then around December is a great time to use Atrazine for winter weeds.
