Jul 15, 2014 · The Arminius revolvers were made by a West German company (back when there were two Germanys, ours and theirs) named Hermann Weirauch. People have mostly forgotten, but from the 1950's to the late 1970's, West Germany was a big producer of inexpensive pistols, largely revolvers.

  2. Arminius HW 5T - Help | The Firearms Forum

Jul 10, 2023 · I had an Arminius in .38 special. It was a pretty decent gun. Zamak isn't all that bad. It just has a low melting point. I had three RG revolvers and never wore one out. I bought the first one new in 1972 and it got used a lot. My first wife still has it and still uses it.

  6. Arminius .44 Part - The Firearms Forum

Feb 25, 2014 · If it helps, the name of the manufacturer of your Arminius revolver was Hermann Weirauch. Before 1945, the Arminius name was used by a German company called Pickert, but they had nothing to do with your gun. I'm glad to hear the frame is steel. The idea of a zinc-alloy 44 Magnum seemed dubious.

Mar 24, 2011 · The Arminius line of guns was made by Hermann Weihrauch Co. in Germany, and imported between about 1960 and 1980. There were several U.S. importers over the years, and changes were made in the model name and number as the importer wished. The quality is not bad, not S&W or Korth, but far above many imports of the period.

  10. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME FIND THE VALUE OF MY GUN?

May 29, 2009 · The Standard Catalog of Firearms gives it a value of a $100 in excellent condition. The best you are going to do on age is the late 50's to 1968 when these cast metal guns were banned from import. Hope that helps. A Viking head, well I guess old Arminius does look like a Viking with that horned hat, I wonder what position he plays
